My computer had a little glitch yesterday. It kept freezing up when I tried to log into my desktop. I tried restarting and going into safe mode to discover the problem. I couldn't. No matter how much I hit F10 it wouldn't go into safemode, even if I used a different keyboard.

So I tried a recovery CD... Well this Recovery CD felt the need to format my C drive without actually asking if I wanted to go that far.

Sooo. I lost everything. All my writing, all the photos I've taken for _years_. Pretty much everything.

Note to self: Backup more often or invest in RAID setup.
